AEMOB Forum 2026 Sets the Stage for September Event at Doha Press Conference

DOHA, QATAR, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Autonomous e-Mobility Forum (AEMOB Forum) 2026 marked a major milestone today with an official press conference in Doha, bringing together the Ministry of Transport, strategic partners, sponsors and media ahead of the Forum from 7–9 September 2026.

Hosted by the Ministry of Transport of the State of Qatar and held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, AEMOB Forum 2026 will unite government, industry, technology and academia to advance dialogue, collaboration and innovation in intelligent, connected and sustainable mobility.

The 2026 edition features a two-day professional conference at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on 7–8 September, followed by an ecosystem tour on 9 September. It is expected to welcome 1,000+ professional delegates, 3,000+ community and public visitors, 70 international and regional speakers, 40+ keynote sessions and panels, 30+ exhibition spaces, 18 sponsors and partners across 10 mobility and industry tracks.

A cross-sector platform for Qatar’s mobility ambitions

Opening the speaker program, Mr. Abdullah Saif Al-Sulaiti, Assistant Undersecretary of Land Transport at the Ministry of Transport, highlighted Qatar’s rapid transport development and focus on smart, sustainable mobility.

He identified autonomous and electric mobility and artificial intelligence as key to improving transport efficiency, safety and sustainability. More than 70% of Qatar’s public bus fleet is already electric, with a target of 100% by 2030.

Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saleh, Chief of Service Delivery at Qatar Rail, said the organization’s platinum sponsorship reflects its commitment to sustainable transport and greater integration across Qatar’s mobility network.
